As a dedicated Medical Assistant at {EMPLOYER-DESC}, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. This position requires a commitment to managing patient care by assisting physicians, managing clinical tasks, and providing compassionate communication to our patients and their families.
Assist healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, such as taking vital signs, administering medication, and collecting specimens
Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests and taking medical histories
Ensure the cleanliness and preparation of examination rooms and equipment
Guide patients by providing relevant information, services, and assistance
Maintain patient records and ensure that follow-up appointments are scheduled
Handle patient communication and correspondence effectively
Comply with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Proficiency in administering injections and performing EKGs
Skill in obtaining and handling specimens
Ability to maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality policies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
