Job Summary: | The med-peds physician will provide comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients across a wide spectrum of health conditions, ensuring continuity of care from infancy through adulthood. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing a variety of medical issues, fostering long-term relationships with patients and families, and offering patient-centered care, with opportunities for precepting students. Faculty share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice and will participate in decisions regarding the practice operation. This position will be housed at a Lone Tree Primary Care clinic operated by the Department of Family Medicine. The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. Clinician-educators are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: MD or DO: Instructor: $200,000 - $214,000 Senior Instructor: $206,000 – 214,000 Assistant Professor: $200,000 – $214,000 Associate Professor: $219,000 - $234,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
