Our facility is seeking to hire a licensed respiratory therapist to add to our ever-expanding staff of competent healthcare professionals help patients who have trouble breathing by providing general and emergency respiratory therapy. This entails assessing patients and performing diagnostic tests to determine the extent of the illness or injury that’s causing it. Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation and experience with respiratory equipment are the keys to success in this role.

.1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
.associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program
.Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in state of practice
.Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
. 2+ years’ active therapy experience required
. Comprehensive knowledge of therapy procedures for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric
. Current and valid RRT or CRT license
. Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal supervision
.Meeting with and examining patients who have pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications
.Protecting patients (and other healthcare employees) through stringent protocols
.Training patients how to administer treatments and use equipment on their own
.Operate, maintain, and repair respiratory equipment to ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and operation
.Perform treatment procedures according to patient needs
.Document patient's respiratory care.
.Making emergency visits to resolve equipment problems when necessary.
.Following specified parameters of treatment.
.Monitoring patient physiological responses to therapy such as arterial blood gases, vital signs or blood chemistry, and lung function changes, and consulting with physicians if there are adverse reactions.
