Job Description


The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting medical providers render professional care to patients within a primary care setting.  


 What You Will Do  

  • Work with team members such as providers, front desk staff and others to provide quality health services  
  • Assist provider with onsite procedures  
  • Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines  
  • Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records

  • High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited entity   
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program   
  • Classroom CPR certification   
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience or clinical externship 
  • Basic proficiency with EHR (EPIC preferred)
