Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
Monitor and report current status of operational area(s) of responsibility.
Ensures department performance is consistent with productivity, quality and compliance expectations. Compiles reports and presents performance data.
Responsible for maintaining up to date policy and procedures, overseeing daily work, and ensuring appropriate workflow.
Establish work flows that ensure appropriate medical record completion and content.
Performing and or reporting on HIM functions for assigned area(s).
Required Qualifications:
Education-Require High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer an Associates Degree. Prefer HIM Credential, RHIT.
Previous experience 2-5 years in a health care setting preferred. Prefer experience in Record Completion Analysis, Coding or Billing experience.
Attention to details.
Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend and analyze operational data
Strong ability to complete tasks and follow through independently.
Excellent organizational skills to proactively prioritize work and have a keen ability to multi-task.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Office, PwerPoint, cloud and web based functionality.
Strong verbal and written skills to enable consistent communication to associates.
