Effective, efficient, and timely sorting of incoming mail into the appropriate database or lockbox.
Accurately pre-sort the mail for the assigned database or lockbox into payment types to expedite processing.
Open and/or sort mail for the assigned clients. Accurately separate the client mail into bundles that will either be prepped for bank depositing or repackaged and shipped out to various bank locations.
Review all checks and correspondence designated “Unable to Locate”. Return those “impossible to identify” back to sender with form letter requesting more information.
Access and utilize various bank websites to retrieve electronic lockbox image files. Most commonly working with excel and PDF files, the electronic image file will be uploaded into an image workflow system and batched according to the client requirements.
Establish and maintain an accurate understanding and application of the procedures outlined in the Batching Dept Manual.
Maintain acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality as specified in company and departmental policies.
Meet routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects and any other duties as assigned.
Understand, support, and comply with company policies and procedures.
Display a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor while treating others with respect.
Other miscellaneous batching & mail related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines
Basic computer literacy
Ten-key by touch: 8,000 to 10,000ksph
The ability to read, speak, and write in the English language
Ability to adapt to the shifting demands of the organization when confronted by different situations
Basic Proficiency level in Excel
