Job Opportunity – Prior Authorization Specialist with Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists in Dayton, OH

As the Prior Authorization Specialist, with Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists, you will complete and monitor all prior authorizations and documentation for radiology, testing, procedures and surgeries as well as complete all BCMH (Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps) paperwork in a timely manner. You will track prior authorizations and coordinate with and maintain open communications with Surgery Schedulers regarding their physician’s patient’s status.

Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists, Inc. is an independent specialty practice with 12 board-certified ear, nose, and throat doctors (otolaryngologists) trained in the medical and surgical management of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. We provide pediatric and adult care in our offices and at the region's leading hospitals. We have 6 practice locations throughout greater Dayton and employ approximately 150 total staff.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy self-starter with the ability to work seamlessly with various members of our team. Other requirements of this position include:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3-5 years medical office experience working with insurance carriers.
Proficiency in using computers and ability to learn various software.
Superior organizational and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor.
