POSITION SUMMARY: As a receptionist, you're at the heart of our practice’s operations and activities. Your responsibilities include greeting and welcoming patients, answering phones, entering data into EMR, ensuring that front desk activities are seamlessly organized and coordinated, and liaising with insurances, hospitals and vendors.

You provide competent and attentive support to our physicians, staff and patients and able to not only meet but anticipate their needs. Your attention to detail is meticulous and your time management and organizational skills are among your key strength. You are a diplomatic collaborator and skillful communicator who represents our practice with polish, grace and professionalism. Fluency in Russian language is a plus. 

 

You are able to commute to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Upper East Side, Manhattan and work morning, afternoon or evening hours and 1-2  Saturdays per month.

  


Job Requirements


2+ years of similar work experience in a healthcare setting
Bachelor Degree is preferred
Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPPA regulations, ICD and CPT coding
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records systems
Customer service and phone etiquette skills
Professionalism, discretion and tactfulness
Passion for organization and detail
Time management, planning and scheduling skills
