We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist to join our growing team to develop, recover or
maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions.
Someone, whose expertise will bolster our existing procedures, and whose passion for patient care isevident. You’ll work with patients to develop treatment plans and goals for patients to work towards during their rehabilitation. You’ll provide ongoing emotional, mental and physical support while implementing various therapies and treatments to improve patient disabilities. You’ll meet with doctors, patients, caregivers and other medical personnel on a daily basis. To be a successful hire, you will need to have up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.

.Proven working experience as Occupational Therapist
.Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media
.Excellent interpersonal communication skills
.State License
.Health promotion and maintenance

.Medical teamwork
.Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
Qualifications:
..State OT certification
.Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or closely-related field
.NBCOT Certification
.Valid driver’s License and acceptable driving history
.Previous working experience as an Occupational Therapist for (x) year(s)
.BA in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for
Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association)
.Certification by the National Board for Certification
Responsibilities :
.Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities
into achievable components
.Guide and educate family members and caregivers
.Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals
.Work effectively with a wide variety of acute and long-term physical disability patients
.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
.Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
.Meets the patient’s goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting
evaluations and test results and determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
