Full-Time Health Information Associate
Reports to: Health Information Manager

Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports/documents for scanning
- Scan and index (electronically filing) health information documents into electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic dental records (EDR)
- Ensure scanned reports/documents are signed by clinical providers
- Handle and distribute medical correspondence
- Retrieve reports from specialty office
- Handle referral/test orders completion in EMR
- Ensure abnormal lab results are reviewed by clinical providers
- Communicate with outside health agencies for patient records
- Maintain the quality, privacy and security of patients’ health information/medical records
- Generate EMR reports for internal QA, referral/test tracking, etc.
- Deliver health information documents between sites
- Provide telephone coverage internally and externally
- Maintain and order Health Information Department supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some College or High School graduate
- Strong computer knowledge required
- Bilingual in English/Chinese
