Job Description

The Center for Hearing & Speech is seeking a clinical audiologist to join our team. For over 100 years the Center has been providing hearing and speech services to the Greater St. Louis, Western and Southern Illinois regions. We pride ourselves on leading from a place of service & providing personalized, culturally responsive communication and care.

We are a close knit group of clinicians, dedicated to serving in a non-profit organization, and looking for a fourth provider. An ideal candidate is someone who is driven, self-motivated, pays attention to detail, and passionate about helping patients improving their communication. You must have strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport.

Missouri audiology license is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence is preferred.

Job Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish rapport with, and gather history from, patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids, cochlear implants, and offer rehabilitation options.
Diagnostic testing for adults and pediatrics. Including ABR, VRA, CPA, and behavioral audiometry
Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments
Program hearing aids
Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems
Maintain documentation and patient files within an electronic medical records system
Support and coach all team members to achieve practice goals and generation of opportunities
The ideal candidate will also possess:

Experience in cochlear implants and auditory processing disorders
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to work in a team environment
The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members
Familiar with TIMS EMR system
