The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is a nonprofit and federally qualified health center, established in 1971. We ensure that all members of our community—regardless of ability to pay—are provided with quality, comprehensive and culturally effective primary healthcare.
As a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, we partner with our patients to create a health plan that meets their own unique health and social needs. Their health team starts with them and their family, and includes doctors, dentists, nurses, care managers, social workers, health educators, nutritionists and medical assistants. We are located in Chinatown, Manhattan and Flushing, Queens, and are open 7 days a week. We have staff fluent in many languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Taishanese, Shanghainese, Fujianese, Vietnamese, and Korean. If our patients do not have health insurance, they may qualify for our sliding fee scale to reduce the cost of their care.
We believe that everyone should have the same opportunity to achieve their highest level of health.
